16SQED publishes art in ceramic. Works are issued in editions — some closed at a fixed number, others left open and added to over time — and every one is fired onto the same four-inch tile.

We work the way a print studio works. A source is chosen, prepared, proofed, and editioned. Rights and provenance are recorded for every work in the catalogue; where a source is in the public domain, we say so.

Everything is made in Ontario, in small batches, and finished by hand. Nothing is discounted, nothing is limited by a countdown. Works are available until the edition closes.
